Dominique Hogan-Doran SC is a Senior Counsel of the Australian Bar. Her clients include governments, courts, regulators, peak bodies, licensees, listed companies, and leaders in business, politics and the professions.
Dominique is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law, the Governance Institute of Australia, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is Chair of the International Bar Association’s Bar Regulation Committee, and has served as President of Australian Women Lawyers, the Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales, and the University of Sydney Union.
Dominique is also an independent director of Australian Cricket’s retirement investment fund, and its new public benevolent institution, Players Cordon, chairing the Governance Committee. She is a director of Natural Hazards Research Australia, the national centre for disaster risk reduction and resilience research, and serves on its Audit & Risk Committee. She was a director of industry superfund Club Plus Super and the Menzies Foundation.
Before her call to the Bar, she was a lawyer at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Research Director to the Chief Justice of New South Wales, a Menzies Scholar at Oxford University, and researcher to Professor James Crawford AC SC.
