Board & Public Roles

After serving as Senior Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements, since 2022 Dominique has been a Non-Executive Director, and from June 2026, Independent Chair of Natural Hazards Research Australia, Australia’s centre for evidence informed research on hazards resilience & disaster risk reduction. Previously, Dominique was a Trustee Director of industry super fund Club Plus Super (since merged with AustralianSuper) & now serves on the boards of Australian Cricket's retirement fund & benevolent fund, Players Cordon.  Read more about Dominique's charity & not-for-profit roles.

Background

Before her call, Dominique was Research Director to NSW Chief Justice the Hon. Murray Gleeson AC, & pursued postgraduate studies at Oxford University as the Menzies Scholar, obtaining a Bachelor of Civil Law with First Class Honours. A Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law & of the Governance Institute of Australia, she has held numerous academic appointments & regularly presents on her areas of expertise.
