Dominique Hogan-Doran SC is a leading silk of the Australian Bar conducting a nation-wide advocacy & advisory practice. She is recognised as a highly accomplished barrister with expertise in handling significant, high-stakes matters for major institutional clients, including State & Federal governments, listed entities & other regulated financial bodies, as well as business leaders and professionals.
Dominique is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law as well as of the Governance Institute of Australia. She specialises in strategic advice across a wide range of legal areas to the boards of regulated entities including Australia’s leading superannuation funds, and in representation in regulatory actions as well as large scale public inquiries. Having been Senior Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements after the devastating 2019/2020 bushfires, Dominique currently serves as a non-executive director & sometimes Acting Chair of Natural Hazards Research Australia, established to support government & industry with evidence-based research on climate change & disaster risk reduction. She was a trustee director of industry fund Club Plus Super (now merged with AustralianSuper, Australia’s largest super fund) & serves on the boards of Australian Cricket’s retirement fund & its new benevolent fund.
