Four eminent women from the SCEGGS community will come together in a Q&A panel discussion to speak about their thoughts on leadership and the challenges and opportunities facing female leaders. Moderated by Old Girl and ABC journalist and news presenter, Celina Edmonds, the panel will also discuss the shifting roles of women in business, media, technology and science and what it takes to be an effective leader.
The panel will include:
Professor Julie Cogin: Julie is the Dean and Head of UQ Business School, University of Queensland and was named one of Australia’s women of influence by the Australian Financial Review and Westpac.
Mia Freedman: Mia is the Co-founder of the Mamamia Media Company and recognised as one of Australia’s most influential women by the Australian Financial Review.
Dominique Hogan-Doran SC: Dominique is a Senior Counsel and was named Barrister of the Year at the 2016 Australian Law Awards.
Philippa King: Philippa is the Foreign Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister and has been in the Department of Foreign Affairs since 1995.
